About the Role

ERETS Space Research Labs is expanding its electronics and hardware engineering team and is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer / Senior Electronics Engineer to contribute to the development, review, testing and validation of advanced electronic systems.

We are looking for engineers with strong practical experience in electronic circuit design, PCB development, embedded hardware, power electronics and system integration.

While this position supports our advanced aerospace and space technology programmes, previous satellite experience is not mandatory. Engineers from aerospace, defence, automotive, robotics, industrial electronics, telecommunications, medical electronics and other high-reliability engineering sectors are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with previous satellite, spacecraft or space electronics experience will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, review and validate analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronic circuits.
• Develop and review electronic schematics and PCB designs.
• Perform electronic component selection based on performance, reliability, availability and environmental requirements.
• Design and review power supply, power conditioning, regulation and distribution circuits.
• Support development of embedded electronic hardware and interfaces.
• Perform power consumption, efficiency, thermal and electrical margin analyses.
• Review and troubleshoot electronic circuits during prototype development and testing.
• Support PCB bring-up, debugging, functional testing and hardware validation.
• Design and review electrical harnesses, connectors, grounding and shielding arrangements.
• Address EMI/EMC requirements during electronic system development.
• Support integration of electronics with sensors, processors, communication modules, power systems and other subsystems.
• Develop and validate interfaces using communication protocols including CAN, I²C, SPI, UART and RS-422/RS-485.
• Support environmental, vibration, thermal and qualification testing of electronic hardware.
• Identify technical risks and recommend design improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation, design review reports, test procedures and validation reports.
• Participate in engineering design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
