Job Overview
Zenith Aerotech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics/Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electronic components and systems used in our UAS technology. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Preparing cables and harnessing for our products.
Design and develop advanced printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Perform soldering and electronics card assembly.
Create and maintain detailed schematic documentation using industry-standard tools.
Collaborate closely with the hardware engineering team to support full-cycle hardware development.
Design and integrate cable harnesses tailored to custom PCB configurations.
Develop embedded systems based on microcontroller architectures
Install aircraft avionics, power systems, test instrumentation, and other electronic equipment.
Maintain shop orders and logbooks, detailing the nature of assignments, parts utilized, time expended, and type of work performed. Collect data for reports as directed.
Participate in the research and development of test fixtures and equipment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field—or demonstrable equivalent experience
Ability to interpret schematic diagrams of electrical and electronic circuits.
Good soldering skills.
Proficiency in CAD tools for PCB design.
Experience with high-density PCB layouts including power, digital, and analog systems.
Solid understanding of digital signal processing concepts.
Working knowledge of inter-component communication protocols such as UART, I2C, sockets, etc.
