Job Description
As an Electrician Trainee, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting senior electricians in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work.
- Learning and following electrical safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Supporting in troubleshooting electrical faults and equipment breakdowns.
- Assisting in cable laying, wiring, panel maintenance, and testing activities.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a protected and clean condition.
- Recording daily work activities and reporting observations to supervisors.
- Participating in preventive maintenance activities.
- Following instructions from supervisors and completing assigned tasks on time.
In the role of an Experienced Electrician, your duties will involve:
- Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
- Performing preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines, motors, panels, and electrical circuits.
- Diagnosing electrical faults and taking corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Monitoring the performance of electrical equipment and recommending improvements.
- Maintaining maintenance records, reports, and spare parts consumption details.
- Guiding and training trainee electricians and junior technicians.
- Coordinating with production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
