Electricial Helper

Job description
JNG ELECTRIC INC. is an established electrical contractor serving southern Ontario, and is currently hiring two electrical helpers to work primarily at a residential complex in Courtice, ON, but also at various worksites within an hour or so of Courtice.

This position is temporary with a 3 month contract, and offers the potential for permanent placement as well as an apprentice sponsorship based on work performance.

JNG ELECTRIC INC. completes a wide variety of installations from mid-rise multi-unit residential to large commercial new builds and fit ups. We have a long-term customer base in service and new construction sectors that continue to grow and provides great job stability.

Applicant Requirements
• Must have their own tools and transportation.
• Working from heights, WHIMIS and 4 step HS awareness certificates.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and motivated to produce high quality work.
• Must take pride in their workmanship and career.

Responsibilities
• Assist in the installation and of electrical systems in residential construction projects.
• Willing and able to learn skills necessary for electrical rough-ins and finishing, including but not limited to, cut outs, wire pulling, boxing.
• Able to carry a minimum of 40lbs
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
• Collaborate with experienced electricians to gain practical knowledge and skills.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Salary: Starting wage of $20.
