SmartPlay Early Learners (SP) is a national brand operated by Christian Education Ministries (CEM) with plans underway to launch several Early Learning Centres around Australia in the coming years. About Smartplay - Singleton
SmartPlay Early Learners - Singleton is a new centre (due to open September 2026) which provides quality care and education within a purpose-built Early Learning Service for children aged 0-4 years. In addition, we will provide an OSHC service for school-aged children at Australian Christian College Singleton, providing before-school and after-school care and vacation care.
About the role
An opportunity exists to work in a committed Christian team as a Lead Educator or Assisting Educator, supporting the learning and development across all age groups.
This part-time position is for 30-75 hours per fortnight, negotiable, with immediate start.
Requirements
Lead Educator:
You have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education or 50% towards completion.
You have at least 1 year’s experience in a lead role in a centre
You possess excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
You hold current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma certification.
You have a current paid Working with Children’s Check.
You have experience and knowledge of NQF, NQS and the EYLF.
You’re confident in the use of technology.
You’re highly motivated.
You have a servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.
Assisting Educator:
You have a minimum of Certificate III in Early Childhood or 50% completed or equivalent.
You have suitable qualifications, including first aid and Child Protection CHCPRT001
You have a current WWCC.
You possess a capacity to lead a growing school with a hands-on approach.
You’re highly motivated and able to build the school enrolment.
You’re confident in the use of technology.
You have a servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.
You will have a dynamic and outgoing personality.
You will be highly organised with strong project management skills.
You will be highly empathetic and able to consider the needs of families while progressing the delivery of service in a timely manner.
You’ll thrive when working collaboratively and when given the opportunity to show initiative.
You will have a great attention to detail.
