Alpha Omega Early Education is seeking motivated and experienced Certificate 3 Qualified educators to join our team. To be a part of the friendly and supportive team at our centre, the successful applicant must have a passion for delivering high quality care and education.

The Diploma/Certificate 3 position includes:

Implementing a play-based curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework
Delivering consistent, high quality care and presentation to all work practices
Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, parents, team members, and the wider community

Selection Criteria:

An approved Certificate III level qualification in Children's Services as identified by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority;
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (HLTAID004);
Current Police Check
Working with Children Check (WWCC) – Type: Employee
Strong teamwork skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A sound and demonstrated understanding of:
1. National Quality Framework (NQF);
2. Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
3. Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting;
4. Victoria Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)

About the centre:

Alpha Omega Early Education is located in Mount Waverley.
We are a childcare service with 35 places for children aged 0-5 years.
We are open from 7:15am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Additional Information

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with our Child Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
