We are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational team at Abbotsford Daycare.

The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating and inspiring children. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of children.
Educate children in various subjects while promoting critical thinking and creativity.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community.
Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Assess children's progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
Support children with disabilities by adapting teaching methods to accommodate their unique needs.
Utilize technology effectively to enhance the learning experience and manage the classroom activities.
Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A genuine passion for educating and nurturing young minds.
Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diversity among children.
Familiarity with educational computer software is preferred and beneficial.
