Position Title: Commercial Casualty Production E&S Underwriter - Remote

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the production of both new and renewal business within your designated territory.
• Collaborate effectively with Producers and Reinsurers to drive business success.
• Exercise full authority in decision-making related to underwriting processes.
Required Skills
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial Excess and Surplus underwriting.
• Strong marketing background, demonstrating the ability to promote services effectively.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%-40%, including potential overnight stays.
• A clean driving record is crucial for this role.
• Candidates with experience in carriers are preferred, although applicants from Managing General Agents (MGAs) or Wholesalers are also encouraged to apply.
• Insurance designations and a college degree are advantageous.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant underwriting experience in the commercial Excess and Surplus sector.
• Proven marketing expertise within the insurance field.
• A clean driving record is essential.
• Relevant insurance designations are preferred but not mandatory.
