Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Driving Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials, assisting with various manual tasks, and supporting skilled tradespeople on-site. This role offers valuable experience across multiple construction disciplines and is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills within the building industry. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair remuneration for your efforts.
Duties
Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from site locations
Assist with loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools
Support tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, masons, electricians, plumbers, and welders with their tasks
Prepare sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding or safety barriers as required
Carry out basic tasks in all construction.
Use hand tools and power tools to assist with construction activities
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain organisation of tools and materials on-site
Requirements
Previous experience or familiarity with construction-related skills such as carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or fabrication is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions accurately
Strong commitment to health and safety standards
