Faye's Doggy Boutique is a Dog Day Care based in Garston, Liverpool. We are a strong, close team who are all very passionate about dogs and treat them like they are part of our family! Building trusting relationships with the dogs and their owners is at the core of our business and we always do what we believe is best for each dog.
As a Doggy Day Care Assistant you will be responsible for caring for the dogs and ensuring they are playing in a safe and controlled manner, as well as having a great time. This will include supervising them in our outdoor and indoor areas. A passion for dogs is a must, as well as having the confidence to handle dogs of all sizes. Experience working with dogs is highly preferred, and an understanding of dog behaviour is essential. We work outdoors in all weathers so you must be happy to work outside in a British Winter!
You will be working a minimum of 12 hours per week. These will be shifts between the hours of 07:00-18:00, Monday to Friday. We are an established and growing company which will offer you great job security and chance to develop.
Criteria:
Experience working with dogs strongly preferred
Ability to drive is preferred
Good people skills mandatory
Strong work ethic
Honest/trustworthy
Passion for dogs
A lover of the outdoors – essential when working outside in an English Winter!
Ability to deliver great customer service and build relationships with our customers
Understanding of dog behaviour
