Qualifications
Expertise in FAR, DFARS, EAR, ITAR, and OFAC regulations
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Strong legal advisory, contract negotiation, and compliance experience
Excellent project management and analytical skills

Responsibilities
As the head of the legal business unit, this role oversees all legal matters for the company, reporting directly to the CEO
The Director ensures regulatory compliance, manages contracts, provides legal guidance, and leads dispute resolution efforts
Contracts Management: Review and negotiate agreements, manage purchase orders in the ERP system, oversee contract risk, and ensure accurate recordkeeping
Compliance Security: Serve as Export Compliance Officer and Facility Security Officer, managing trade compliance, security clearances, export licenses, and regulatory filings
Conduct compliance training and audits
Dispute Resolution: Address and manage disputes with customers, suppliers, and third parties, coordinating with external counsel when needed
Business Supplier Registrations: Maintain corporate filings, supplier certifications, and compliance with federal subcontracting requirements
