Role Summary:
Support the Automatic Assembly department by operating and maintaining automated assembly machines, ensuring smooth production, quality, safety, and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor automatic/semi-automatic assembly machines as per SOPs.
• Assist in machine setup, changeovers, and production line balancing.
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic PLC-related issues.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team during machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE guidelines, and participate in 5S, TPM, and Kaizen activities.
• Maintain production and machine records, including downtime and maintenance logs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and improve OEE.
• Participate in structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) and develop skills in automation, mechatronics, and manufacturing processes.
Skills Required:
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Good problem-solving, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
