Essential attributes of this role:

Be well informed on current research and literature on early childhood education
Enthusiasm, caring manner and sensitivity to other's need
Practice is based on the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics
Good oral and written communication skills
An ability to maintain a professional attitude to all aspects of their work
The ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work in partnership with parents
Understanding practice and knowledge of the Early Learning Years Framework
Reliability and trustworthiness
Use initiative to identify tasks/projects/requirements for the service and all environments
Model good professional and ethical practice in work with children, families and other employees
Essential Qualifications:

Diploma of Children's Services or working towards.
Current APPROVED work with children's check
Current Child Protection training
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
