Digital Marketing Specialist (PPC Google Ads)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution
• Own the full lifecycle of Google Ads campaigns — Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube — across multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Plan and execute Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn campaigns with clear audience segmentation, creative briefs, and conversion goals.
• Conduct deep keyword research, competitor ad analysis, and audience mapping to inform campaign architecture before any spend goes live.
• Build and restructure campaign hierarchies (campaigns, ad groups, match types) with a structured, QS-optimized approach.
Budget Management & Pacing
• Manage and pace ad budgets ranging from ₹50K to ₹5L+ per month per client, ensuring full utilization without overspend.
• Allocate budget dynamically across campaigns based on performance signals, with clear documentation of optimization decisions.
• Prepare monthly budget utilization reports with clear breakdowns of spend vs. target, CPA vs. goal, and ROAS vs. benchmark.
• Identify and flag budget anomalies proactively — zero impressions, overspend pacing, or sudden Quality Score drops — and resolve them quickly.
AI-Assisted Workflow & Speed
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Jasper, or equivalent) to accelerate ad copy generation, A/B variant creation, and reporting narration.
• Leverage Google Ads Smart Bidding, Performance Max signals, and automated rules with sound judgment.
• Use AI-assisted tools for competitor analysis, landing page brief generation, and audience persona building.
• Stay current with new AI ad features (Google Demand Gen, Meta Advantage+, etc.) and evaluate their relevance to active client goals.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
• Set up and maintain conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager, GA4, and platform-native pixels.
• Build weekly and monthly client-facing reports in Looker Studio or Google Sheets — clear, visual, and tied to business outcomes.
• Conduct regular funnel analysis: click-through rates, landing page bounce rates, form fills, call conversions, and micro-conversions.
• Run structured A/B tests on headlines, descriptions, CTAs, bidding strategies, and landing page variants.
Cross-Team Collaboration
• Brief the content and design team on ad creative requirements — formats, messaging angles, CTA hierarchy, and platform-specific specs.
• Work with the SEO team to align high-converting PPC keywords with organic content strategy.
• Collaborate on landing page optimization — identify drop-off points, recommend copy or layout changes.
• Handle direct client communication on campaign performance updates via email, WhatsApp, and calls.
Experience & Expertise
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Google Ads management across Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience managing ad budgets of ₹1L/month or more across multiple client accounts.
• Proven track record of improving campaign ROAS, reducing CPA, or scaling lead volume across client accounts.
• Working proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
• Google Ads certification is strongly preferred (Search, Display, or Performance Max).
Technical Skills
• Proficient in Google Ads across Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube, and Performance Max campaign types.
• Hands-on setup experience with GTM, GA4 event tracking, Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag.
• Ability to build performance dashboards in Looker Studio or equivalent; advanced Google Sheets for data analysis.
• Active user of AI writing and research tools for campaign acceleration and workflow efficiency.
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, keyword cannibalization, and Quality Score mechanics is an added advantage.
Soft Skills & Work Approach
• Strong written and verbal communication — able to translate campaign data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active client accounts simultaneously.
• Proactive in surfacing issues and recommending solutions, with a results-first mindset.
• Clear and transparent in reporting — comfortable sharing both wins and areas for improvement.
