Role Description The Graphic Designer will work full time on-site at the Roorkee campus, collaborating with academic and administrative teams to produce visual materials for print and digital platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing marketing collateral, social media creatives, posters, brochures, and event-related graphics that align with the institute’s brand identity. The role involves creating and refining logos, selecting and applying appropriate typography, and maintaining consistent branding across all communication channels.
The Graphic
Designer will also support the development of visual concepts for campaigns, assist with photo and asset management, and prepare files for print and online distribution. This position requires close coordination with stakeholders to understand requirements, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality design solutions.
Qualifications - Strong skills in Graphic Design and Graphics creation for print and digital media.
• Experience in Logo Design and Branding to maintain and evolve a cohesive institutional identity.
• Proficiency in Typography, including font selection, hierarchy, and readability best practices.
• Ability to use industry-standard design tools (e.G., CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent software).
• Good visual communication skills and attention to detail, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic video editing or motion graphics and knowledge of design for social media will be an added advantage.
