About Your Opportunity
McColl’s currently has an exciting opportunity for experienced Diesel Mechanic for an immediate start! This full time position is based at our Prestons Workshop.
Hourly base rates start from $40 per hour + allownaces.
There are opportunities for career advancement and upskilling gaining additional qualifications.
About Your New Position
Commitment to safe work practices
Servicing Fleet equipment on mainly Kenworth and Volvos
Minor/major repairs on our fleet of Tankers including suspension work
Ability to work after hours breakdown roster
To be Successful You will bring:
Current Trade/Diesel Mechanic Certificate
Minimum 5 years experience as a qualfied mechanic
Cummins/Volvo experience (preferred)
Prior BPW, SAF, Hendrickson suspension experience
Experience with EBS and previous OEM training highly regarded
Prior experience servicing fleet equipment
Leading Hand Experience (preferred)
A high attention to detail with a strong focus on job safely and quality
