Job Description
• Help & support the goal of building better, faster and cheaper digital maps
• As part of our team, you will be responsible for creating and developing a platform used to produce digital maps
• Your work will improve the experience of key stakeholders of the Maps operations data capture and reporting systems
• Exchange knowledge with our talented engineers globally and solve a wide range of challenging, state of the art algorithmic issues
• You will be working on real time data capture & process application written in Java Spring Boot and deployed in
• AWS using Chef / Ansible script in OpsWorks.
• You will be working in Data Engineering team to support and design DevOps processes around Azure and Databricks in near future.
What you'll need
• 3+ years of experience in Software Development & DevOps
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment
• Strong Experience in DevOps environments and passion for CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and git actions, and public cloud computing AWS. In addition, azure knowledge is preferable.
• Proficiency in Java & Spring Boot is must. In addition, have experience or willing to work on Python / Scala.
• Nice to have experience in Big Data and supporting technologies (Spark, Hive, and Databricks)
• Must have End-to-End knowledge of application development and deployment in AWS with deployment strategies,
• versioning, networking, database setup, code build using build tools, testing, monitoring & alerting & load balancing.
• Willing to work in azure, big data/data bricks environment with Development and DevOps activities.
