Job Description
Role/Job Title: Developer (Android)
Business: Information Technology
Function/ Department: Information Technology
Qualification:
• 4-6 years of Android development, testing, and debugging experience.
Education:
• Graduation/Post Graduation qualifications in Computer Engineering (preferable) or any Engineering stream.
• A high degree of Analytical ability and Quantitative skills is desirable
The Skills/Role Responsibilities:
• Hands-on knowledge of Android development with Java/Kotlin.
• Good understanding of defect triage process, ability to diagnose and resolve defects independently (looking at logs, code, and metrics).
• Good to have react and API development knowledge.
• Prior experience building user experiences in Android.
• Prior experience writing unit, integration, and automation tests for Android.
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
