Job Description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer – Networking & Firewall to provide L1/L2 support for network infrastructure, firewall, VPN, wireless, and SD-WAN environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network administration, Fortinet Firewall, VLAN, VPN, LAN/WAN, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity across offices.
Perform network health checks and proactively resolve connectivity issues.
Configure and manage VLANs for departmental segregation and security.
Configure and manage Fortinet Firewalls, including policies, VPNs, and security features.
Support and troubleshoot VPN connectivity for remote users.
Deploy and standardize corporate Wi-Fi networks across locations.
Configure incident alerts and email notifications for faster issue response.
Support SD-WAN deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Monitor network health, bandwidth usage, and security visibility through monitoring/reporting tools.
Perform cable testing and troubleshoot physical-layer connectivity issues.
Review network configurations against industry standards and recommend improvements.
Coordinate with backend/network teams for escalated L2/L3 issues, BAU activities, and projects.
Maintain proper documentation of network configurations, incidents, and changes.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of experience in Network Administration / Desktop & Network Support.
Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewall, SD-WAN, VLAN, and VPN.
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching, and Wireless technologies.
Experience in network troubleshooting and incident management.
Familiarity with network monitoring and alerting tools.
Good understanding of network security and industry-standard configurations.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with backend support teams.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
