We are currently seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Engineer to join Care Infotech's Information Technology department in Mumbai. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance of our desktop systems. You will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at enhancing our IT infrastructure and supporting our team members.

This position is vital to the success of Care Infotech, as you will be responsible for resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and maintaining computer systems. The Desktop Support Engineer role requires a strong focus on customer service, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end-users for desktop hardware and software related issues.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, software, and peripheral devices.
Collaborate with IT team members to ensure efficient operation of desktop infrastructure.
Respond to IT support tickets and prioritize tasks to meet service level agreements.
Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
Conduct regular maintenance and updates on desktop systems.
Train end-users on new technologies and software applications.
Document technical procedures and user guides.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS).
Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Basic understanding of networking concepts.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lift and move computer equipment when necessary.
