Job Description Title: Consultant - Developer Desktop Department: Enterprise Technology Services Location: Gurgaon India About the role The role would focus on shaping and supporting the local developer environments that power Fidelitys engineering teams globally You will be responsible for building managing and securing modern developer workstations improving the onboarding experience and ensuring a consistent toolchain across operating systems Your work will directly impact developer productivity standardization and engineering governance This role is critical to improving developer productivity reducing operational risk and enabling consistent engineering standards across the organisation Key Responsibilities Developer Workstation Design Management Define and maintain standardized configurations for developer desktops across Windows and macOS Manage tools installation and lifecycle using package managers such as Homebrew Winget Chocolatey etc Integrate secure development configurations proxy settings and compliance controls into desktop builds Tooling Developer Enablement Maintain and support commonly used developer tools IDEs CLI utilities SDKs version managers etc Manage developer desktop onboarding flows and integrate with existing platforms such as ServiceNow etc Ensure seamless integration with internal artifact repositories such as Nexus Artifactory and internal mirrors Modern Development Environments Research evaluate and implement containerized developer environments including: o D
