Join the Toothlife Studio Team as a Hygiene Coordinator
Location: Toronto, ON
Position: Full-Time
At Toothlife Studio, we're redefining what a dental hygiene practice can be, offering unique periodontal appointments with adjunctive therapy and use advanced dental hygiene treatment planning while providing dental services.
We're searching for an organized, proactive, and people-focused Hygiene Coordinator to become the heart of our front-end operations as our existing hygiene coordinator is leaving to go back to school to persue dental hygiene.
What You'll Do
As our Hygiene Coordinator, you'll help create an exceptional experience from the moment a patient makes an appointment.
Core responsibilities include:
Managing patient scheduling and appointment flow
Welcoming patients
Answering phones, emails, and patient inquiries
Coordinating hygiene recall and reactivation
Confirming appointments and managing cancellations
Processing payments and insurance submissions
Assisting with hygiene treatment presentation and financial discussions as needed
Maintaining accurate patient records
Supporting daily clinic operations and administrative tasks
Assisting the clinical team to ensure appointments run smoothly
Helping create an organized, positive, and efficient patient experience
Prepare financial statements
Provide metrics on performance of dental hygiene services
Meet with management about procedure flow and KPI
Set goals, targets and benchmarks for dental hygiene

Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems

Must have:
Previous dental or healthcare administrative experience
Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental is an asset)
Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment coordination
Experience with recall systems and patient communication
