Middleware Engineer (GDS)

Key Responsibilities:

Middleware API Development:

- Collaborate with the Middleware Engineering Lead and team members to design and build custom middleware APIs using Go, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical specifications.
- Assist in the development of the middleware integration layer, including API gateways, messaging systems, and data transformations, specifically tailored for Kubernetes environments.

Support Middleware Platform Maintenance:

- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the middleware platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in the configuration of pipelines and Kubernetes configurations for Go deployments on Kubernetes.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs and provide support in implementing middleware solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for coding and development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in middleware engineering, integration development, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of API management, including understanding of API endpoints and API gateways.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration is essential.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and environments is beneficial.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or similar languages.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.
