About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based database systems.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our cloud-based database systems, including performing regular backups, monitoring system performance, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Security and Compliance: You will ensure that our cloud-based database systems meet the highest standards of security and compliance, including implementing appropriate access controls, encrypting sensitive data, and conducting regular security audits.
• Performance Optimization: You will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our cloud-based database systems, including identifying bottlenecks, implementing indexing strategies, and tuning queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Skills: You must have extensive experience with cloud-based database administration, including designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based database systems. You should also have expertise in cloud-based database management systems such as Amazon RDS, Google Cloud SQL, and Microsoft Azure SQL Database.
• Soft Skills: You must be a strong communicator and have excellent problem-solving skills. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Education: You must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
