Database Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and design appropriate database structures. • Develop database models, schemas, and tables to efficiently store and organize data. • Implement and configure database management systems (DBMS) based on business needs and best practices. • Assist in data analysis and reporting by writing complex SQL queries, creating views, and generating reports. • Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to extract insights from the data and support decision-making processes. • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, documentation, and data lineage to ensure data traceability and understanding. • Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including database tuning, index rebuilding, and data purging. • Monitor database performance and availability, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis. • Provide technical support to users and resolve database-related problems in a timely manner. Roles and Responsibilities: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Database Analyst, Database Administrator, or a similar role. • Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS), such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. • Proficiency in SQL programming and database query optimization. • Familiarity with database design principles, normalization, and data modelling concepts. • Experience with data integration tools, ETL processes, and data warehousing. • Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations and best practices. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
