Job overview
• The Database Administrator job is a technical L2-level job to manage day-to-day database administrations and operations in cloud/data centers in all service delivery scenarios.

Responsibilities
• Good knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture
• Experience in working with RAC databases.
• Experience in working with multi-tenant databases.
• Experience with performance tuning.
• Experience with database backup, restoration, refresh using Recovery Manager (RMAN)
• Experience with database, schema, table level refresh using Datapump.
• Experience with software Installation and Creation of 12c & 1+c Databases on RAC and Non-RAC environments.
• Experience with database upgrades & cross-platform database migrations.
• Experience working with ASM storage.
• Experience in applying database, grid patches as per the organization policies.
• Experience with design, set up and maintenance of data guard environments.
• Experience in writing shell scripts will be an added advantage.
• Experience or additional knowledge in Couchbase is desirable.
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Good Team player.

Education and experience
• University degree in Computer Sciences, IT or related technical/engineering field
• Experience in Product Support and Implementation, preferably in Linux/Solaris environment.
• Preferably Telecommunications and/or Payment industry experience
• Preferably ITIL v4 foundation certification.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of DBA experience in similar position in Oracle 12c & 1+c
