We are seeking a seasoned Data Specialist for the life sciences domain. The key responsibilities associated with this role are defined below. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in life sciences data domains and strong experience in implementing commercial data solutions.
Responsibilities:
• As a Data Specialist, you will directly partner with onshore SME key client stakeholders to define the business problems, analyse requirements, and determine solution requirements.
• You will be responsible for understanding business objectives, participating in implementation and ongoing support activities and communicating results as identified.
• Good understanding of commercial pharma processes.
• Adhere to analytics lifecycle and best practices.
• Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
• Create documentation of analytics use cases.
• Helping develop wireframes, gather requirements, and support accurate delivery of reports and analysis.
• Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Oversee the generation of reports from single or multiple systems.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
• Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
• Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• You will be responsible for ensuring business value and communicating results.
Requirements:
• 10 years and above of work experience in the space of data analytics.
• Should be able to work independently with client business and analytics stakeholders.
• Experience in working with Pharma data sets.
• Strong experience or working knowledge of Python, SQL and/or visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Ability to understand client's business problems, working as part of a global team and perform project-related studies and analysis.
• Strong experience in implementing commercial data solutions for life sciences companies.
• Attention to detail, hands-on deep dive analysis, and strong communication skills.
• A strong aptitude for storytelling through the analysis of data.
• Hands-on analytical experience with a proven track record of results.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action; excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate complex issues simply and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Fluency with pharma data sources such as PlanTrak, APLD, LAAD, Calls, samples, pharmacy distribution data, marketing, events, and other associated data sets.
• Bachelor's or higher in data analytics or equivalent work experience.
Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
