Role Description The Data Insights Analyst (Remote, Entry-Level) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources to generate actionable insights for internal teams and client projects. The analyst will support market research efforts, interpret customer behavior and preferences, and prepare clear reports and dashboards to inform decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include working with data analytics tools, validating data accuracy, identifying trends and patterns, and communicating findings to stakeholders in a concise and understandable way. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams in marketing, sales, and operations to translate data insights into practical recommendations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities for interpreting and visualizing data.
Candidates should possess Market Research and Customer Insight skills to understand trends, target audiences, and user behavior.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present complex data clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is a plus).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Business, Economics, or related discipline (or comparable practical experience).
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to learn new tools and methods quickly.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area and manage tasks in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
