Responsibilities:
- Input data from paper documents or electronic files into computer systems with speed and accuracy.
- Verify accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents and making corrections as necessary.
- Update and maintain databases with new information as it becomes available.
- Ensure data integrity by regularly checking for errors or discrepancies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data entry procedures and best practices.
- Respond to inquiries and requests for data from internal teams in a timely manner.
- Generate reports and perform data analysis as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to accomplish departmental goals and objectives.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in data entry or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry operator or similar role.
- Proficient typing skills and familiarity with typing programs and software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of data entry best practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with database management systems and software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
