Key Points:
• Be able to create an efficient physical database design from a logical data model and application specifications.
• Must possess in-depth SQL knowledge, understand SQL code
• Proficient in tuning SQL queries to improve the database performance and availability.
• Familiar with NoSQL database such as MongoDB or AWS Document DB.
• Have experience with Linux operating system and MySQL.
• Have experience in AWS services like AWS EC2, RDS, Redshift, Athena, Cloudwatch, etc.
• Have expertise in managing AWS Redshift access privileges and creating roles, users, groups.
• Have expertise in loading/unloading data from Amazon Redshift.
• Proficient in maintaining and tuning AWS Redshift data warehouse to improve the cluster performance and availability.
• Ability to use PowerBI and create basic dashboards.
• Familiarity with database version control tools such as Flyway.
