The National Customer Interaction Department is seeking a talented Video Editor to join its Communications team. Supporting communications for more than 50,000 colleagues across Great Britain and Ireland, this role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing engaging multimedia content across a variety of internal channels, with a particular focus on video production. From developing concepts and storyboards to filming, editing, and managing agency relationships, you will oversee the end-to-end production process while contributing to impactful communications that support business objectives and colleague engagement.

Your New Role
Creation of engaging multimedia content across a range of internal channels, including written
communications, graphic design, digital assets, thumbnails, long and short-form video reels
Videography; from concept development and script writing from storyboarding through to filming,
editing and managing creative agencies
Maintaining strong relationships with Key Stakeholders of all levels across the business
Maintaining strong relationships with our agencies to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of materials
produced
Creation of project briefs and communications
Organisation of events and video shoots
Monitoring and controlling adherence to all deadlines
Continuous improvement within role, simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies
Supporting the delivery of the departmental strategy
About You
Previous experience working in a communications or marketing department
Excellent verbal/written communication
Filming experience
Copy writing experience
Script writing experience
Video pre-production planning including storyboards, scripts and shot lists
Able to investigate, analyse and challenge appropriately
Able to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team
Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Positive can-do attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and able to use initiative
Desirable:
Proficient in Design Software
Skilled in project management
Experience with filming, camera equipment and editing short business videos
Working with creative agencies to produce high-quality videos
What You’ll get in Return
Salary starting from £37,545 rising to £43,840
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working (changing to 1 day a week remote working from January 2027)
5 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays
