We're looking for a Customer Engagement Associate to represent Just Energy inside busy retail locations throughout the Fort Wayne area. As a Customer Engagement Associate, you'll be the friendly face customers remember; introducing affordable energy solutions, answering questions, and helping people understand how switching providers can benefit their home. Every conversation is different, and every day gives you the chance to meet someone new while building valuable sales experience.
Responsibilities of the Customer Engagement Associate
Welcome customers with a friendly, approachable attitude while creating an inviting experience inside the retail store.
Start natural conversations that introduce Just Energy's services and current promotions.
Listen to each customer's needs and explain energy options in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
Help interested customers complete enrollments accurately while making the process quick and stress-free.
Build excitement around seasonal promotions and special offers while supporting daily sales goals.
Work alongside fellow Customer Engagement Associates to create a fun, energetic retail environment.
Represent the Just Energy brand with professionalism during customer interactions and in-store promotions.
Continue developing communication, customer engagement, and sales skills through ongoing coaching and real-world experience as a Customer Engagement Associate.
Qualifications of the Customer Engagement Associate
You enjoy talking with people and aren't afraid to start conversations.
Retail, hospitality, restaurant, coffee shop, customer service, or other people-focused experience is helpful but never required.
Positive attitude with the ability to stay motivated in a fast-paced retail setting.
Comfortable working face-to-face with customers throughout the day.
Interested in building professional sales experience while learning about customer engagement and retail promotions.
Dependable, coachable, and excited to learn new skills.
Motivated to grow as a Customer Engagement Associate while contributing to team sales success.
Ready to bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and great customer service into every day.
