About the Role
The Culinary Lead oversees kitchen preparation, cooks GA·RA menu items to order, and maintains a clean, organized, and efficient back of house environment. This role sets the pace for the kitchen and helps ensure a smooth daily service.
You Will
Turn on equipment and set up the cooking station.
Complete daily prep lists for ingredients, sauces, toppings, and bases.
Cook menu items to order with accuracy and consistency.
Follow proper rotation, labeling, and storage procedures.
Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist with food preparation for service and support kitchen teammates.
Keep the kitchen clean and tidy, including line cleaning and equipment care.
Communicate clearly with the front of house team to support smooth service.
Complete all daily, weekly, and as needed cleaning duties.
Provide friendly and positive customer service when interacting with guests.
Cover cook responsibilities on scheduled shifts when required.
You Are
Experienced in back of house operations and comfortable leading the pace of the kitchen.
Consistent, reliable, and calm during busy periods.
Detail oriented with strong food safety awareness.
Someone who maintains a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
A team player who communicates clearly with both BOH and FOH.
Warm, friendly, and professional in guest interactions.
You Have
At least 2 years of professional kitchen experience.
Strong understanding of cooking techniques and safe food handling.
The ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work safely around heat and kitchen equipment.
