The 1st line Tech Risk, Insights and controls function at Deutsche sits within the Chief Technology Office (CTO) for Deutsche Bank Group. CTO has the largest footprint within the Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) division and is joined by other business-aligned CIO IT divisions.
The Tech Risk, Insights and Controls is a dynamic team, consistently in demand, for providing guidance and challenge to deliver change and maintain systems in a secure and resilient manner.
As part of the team, you will join the Bank's journey and contribute towards our strategic goal of cloud enabled solutions as well as activities that improve our operational resilience and risk reduction.
Specifically, you will bring expertise to Develop and maintain Infrastructure Operations Dashboards (Availability, Stability risk, roadmap compliance) supporting a proactive risk management function. It will therefore also include providing data science capability for continuous development of operation and risk insights, KRIs for CTO controls and developing and maintaining a knowledge management model across CTO Tech risk. You will liaise with other risk and control functions, on a management level to assure the integration of risk initiatives and projects.
This role will report to the Head of Data Analytics and Knowledge Management and ultimately to the Global Head of Risks, Insights and Controls.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Data Analytics and Knowledge Management
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure Risk Dashboards (Availability, Stability risk, roadmap compliance)
• Provide data science capability for continuous development of operation and risk insights
• Provide KRIs for CTO controls
• Develop and maintain a knowledge management model across CTO Tech risk.
• Be a catalyst and an enabler to the global leadership for achieving the objectives in line with changing regulatory and industry operating landscape and reducing risk against overall technology operations portfolio
• Ensure management transparency by way of timely risk reporting and proactive engagement and representing Data Analytics team at different governing forums
• Work with relevant stakeholders to identify and assess operation and risk insights related to technology risk
• Align with global Integrated Controls Framework (ICF) team within DCRO (Divisional Control and Regulatory Office team ensuring successful and consistent implementation of the established risk & control framework
• Partner with 2nd LoD, NFRM (Non-Financial Risk Management) to ensure alignment towards Group wide minimum control standards
• Promote and support proactive IT risk culture at the Bank
Desired experience
• Overall experience in similar roles for 2-5 years in a Technology company or in a Banking Technology division or IT risk or IT audit
• Good experience in Data Analytics - designing and implementation of data models and creating meaningful dashboards that drive insights
• Good understanding of Industry best practices in how KRIs are defined, and data quality and integrity is maintained
• Data analytics and visualization skills – Informatica, Tableau, SAP objects, MS SQL, Alteryx
• Other professional qualifications and certifications in Technology risk management
