Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Critical Care Physician based in Alwar. The Critical Care Physician will manage patients in intensive care units, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of critically ill individuals with complex medical conditions. Daily responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary care, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing or overseeing procedures, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The role involves close collaboration with nursing staff, anesthesiology teams, and other specialists to ensure continuous monitoring, timely interventions, and adherence to clinical protocols. The physician will also participate in clinical documentation, family consultations, and quality improvement initiatives within the critical care setting.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Medicine with expertise in managing acute and complex medical conditions in critically ill patients.
• Clinical proficiency in Pulmonology for the management of respiratory failure, ventilator support, and advanced pulmonary care.
• Experience or collaboration with Anesthesiology for perioperative critical care and sedation management of ICU patients.
• Specialized training or significant experience in Critical Care Medicine, including ICU protocols, invasive monitoring, and emergency interventions.
• Ability to work effectively with Critical Care Nursing teams, providing guidance on patient management and ensuring coordinated care.
• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with relevant postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Anesthesiology, or Critical Care Medicine.
• Valid medical license and required certifications in critical care or intensive care practice, as applicable.
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to make timely decisions in high-pressure environments.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
