Specialist / Senior Specialist Origination (Credit Syndication) JOB TITLE : Specialist / Senior Specialist - Origination (Credit Syndication)BUSINESS UNIT : Wholesale Banking Function : Credit : MBA (Finance) from a premier institute / CA / CFA Experience : 5 - 10 years (largely relevant experience)Job Description & Key Accountabilities:1. Origination, structuring, negotiation & execution of transactions across loans / bonds / structured debt / distressed debt / securitization transactions etc.2. Deep network and established relationships with potential borrowers & issuers 3. Build and maintain independent & extensive engagement with the senior most levels of clients and key decision makers, including Promoters / CEOs / CXOs etc.4. Engage with Global Fund managers and domestic Alternative Funds industry management team to facilitate their investments and loans5. Work with the team in preparation of teasers, pitch books, information memorandum, management presentations, financial models and other deal related presentations & notes6. Tracking business news / industry journals / rating releases / Bloomberg / MCA etc. for sighting potential origination opportunitiesCandidate Profile / Skills:- Deep understanding of loan, debt capital markets, private debt & distressed debt market in India, including prevalent structures / regulations etc.- Strong awareness of market trends and underwriting appetite in order to originate the right kind of transactions- Possess maturity in communication skills to hold conversations with senior levels of clients (Promoter/CXO/CFO level)- Recent experience in origination & execution of Private Debt / Distressed Debt transactions with local & global private debt platforms will be advantageous - Sound Fundamentals on Accounting including reading & interpreting balance sheets, Financial Modelling etc.Soft skills:- Self-motivated and proactive team player with entrepreneurial mindset - Excellent client relationship building and management skills - Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills, with an ability to 'think out of the box'- Delivering within expected tight timelines (ref:iimjobs.com
