Gregg Distributors is an established and industry leading industrial supplies company that has been serving Western Canadians for over 58 years.
We are looking to expand our Counter Service team at our Edmonton East & Edmonton South locations:
Edmonton East: 3611 – 76 Avenue, Edmonton, AB
Edmonton South: 3911 - 92 Street, Edmonton, AB
Nisku: 1405 - 5 Street, Nisku, AB
This team is responsible for serving customers at the front counter as well as picking customers’ orders. Successful candidates will be hands-on individuals who have a passion for customer service and aren't afraid of physical work. We offer a very attractive compensation package, benefits and bonus program as well as extensive perks and incentives.
*Must be able and willing to commute to our Edmonton Main Branch (16215 118 Avenue NW) for the initial 2-4 months of training*
Primary Responsibilities:
· Identify customers’ needs and recommend valuable products
· Sell spare and replacement parts
· Answer customer inquiries and advise on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts
· Handle cash transactions
· Pick and package customers’ orders in a safe and efficient manner
· Adhere to company safety policies
Qualifications:
· Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
· Self-motivated
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Capable of maintaining a professional image and enhancing customer relationships
· Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
· High level of attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner
Front counter experience within an industrial industry is not necessary but is considered a definite asset.
