Residential - Tom Price | Full time

Starting salary $84,801.60 p.a. (negotiable dependent on skills and experience) + allowances + 6 weeks Annual Leave, super matching scheme and more
Shire accommodation is not available for this position.

About the Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a local resident to join our Governance Team in the role of Council Support Officer.

This position is responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative support to the Shire President and Councillors. Duties include coordination of elected member enquiries, entitlements, professional development and attendance at meetings and events. This role is also responsible for citizenship ceremonies and assists with Council meeting processes, including minute taking.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and work proactively within a team is essential for this role.

Previous experience in local government and/or administration will be highly regarded as will strong skills in Microsoft Office suite. Travel to other Shire towns may be requiremed as part of this role, including overnight stays.
