Job Description
The Paxon team provides commercial and strategic advice to a range of public, private and ASX listed companies across Australia. We play a key role in projects and programs across multiple sectors, including healthcare, education, social / affordable housing, corrections, urban renewal and transport.
As a Corporate Finance Analyst you will be focused on undertaking corporate finance engagements delivering the following:
Financial modelling and analysis, including project finance and three-way financial model development
Development of discounted cash flow analysis and derivation of discount rates for public and private sector financial modelling and assessment
Interpretation and analysis of model findings aligned to client and project requirements
Manipulate and analysis of large, complex datasets
Application of methods of project financing and requirements for financing to financial model and report development
Business case and feasibility study writing
Assessment of procurement and financing options
Structuring of projects and ventures, including commercial and financial structures and arrangements
Provision of commercial and financial advice
Documentation and presentation of results
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have between 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar role. Candidates with degrees in Law, Commerce/Economics/Business and Engineering are encouraged to apply. CA/FINSIA or other equivalent qualifications will be highly regarded.
Experience at the Big 4 or Investment Banking organisations would be highly advantageous.

Understanding of project finance models and modelling techniques and commercial structures for project delivery
Excellent financial modelling skills
Excellent analytical and research skills
Advanced document writing and presentation preparation skills
Excellent communication skills
