Job Description
The Associate, Control Program - Developer will work towards establishing a data universe by developing strategic solutions to collate data feeds from multiple firmwide systems or record, to establish correlations, provide an accurate mapping of information which form the basis of analysis which helps facilitate better and informed decision-making. . In addition, the candidate is expected to work on creation of dashboards for multiple Global Initiatives and collaborate across various teams to design and deliver customized analyses and strategic dashboards, and synthesize the data into actionable insights
The job role involves intersection of analytics, user experience, design and development by designing and implementing reports/analytics solutions through detailed analysis of operational risk data.
High Level Job Description Include
• Strong Computer Science foundations
• Architect, develop, test and maintain robust scalable applications (especially supporting Risk Expo programs) with the ability to trouble shoot production issues
• Java Full-stack developer with demonstrated knowledge of developing solutions using React/Angular JS/Node JS
• Hands-on experience in building high-performance desktop/web applications
• Build code that is reusable, maintainable, and scalable; and support continuous improvement
• Work on design and development of business dashboards along with end-to-end implementation including data modeling and visualization using multiple analytics tool (such as Tableau, Alteryx, Adobe Analytics, and other BI tools)
• Work on logically stitching multiple data feeds, APIs etc. through automated solutions to create data universe which can be utilized for data analytics
• Work on initiatives across various programs to provide Data Analytics Solution which have on-demand self-service analytical capabilities along with transformative insights, including any statistically derived metrics or benchmarks
• Aid in Intelligent automation of business dashboard by building smart UI (user interface) to provide excellent UX (user experience) and provide management and stakeholders with self-service tools
• Interpret and analyze the insights from dashboards & interactive analytic suites to identify and present actionable opportunities along with monitoring the comparative effectiveness of various Control's initiatives across the firm
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 5 - 8 years of experience in controls, audit, risk management, or compliance preferred
• Essential tools knowledge: Alteryx, Tableau, RPA, UiPath, Python, MSSQL Server, JIRA and GIT
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• In touch with industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to translate business/functional problems into a conceptual analytical and automation technical architecture
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage all facets of the analytical and automation project lifecycle (data exploration, hypothesis testing, code development, testing/validation, model deployment, etc.)
• Ability to build relationships and leverage subject matter expertise to driving conversations and/or influence decisions/direction with Business and Technology areas
• Self-starter who takes ownership and can drive change through innovation
• Must have the ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new or ambiguous situations with minimal direction
• Demonstrate confident leadership and sound judgment to influence a strong
