Job Description
Contract manager in Carnation will play a critical role as he will direct and oversee contracts throughout their lifecycle. Serving as the liaison between companies, employees, customers, vendors, and independent contractors (US - Contracts with vendors, clients, employees, contractors etc. along with Indian contracts). Overall, managing for Cardinal and Carnation both, means he must serve as the main facilitators for negotiations, recommendations, record keeping, monitoring, change management, and more.
Contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution
He will be responsible for successfully oversee contracts from drafting all the way to execution.
He needs to be skilled in numerous areas including legal compliance, negotiation, and relationship management.
He will serve as the key point of contact between a business and third parties to ensure timely review and approval of any variations.
He must provide recommendations and negotiate directly with customer attorneys to craft a final document that is satisfactory to all parties.
Developing and implementing procedures and policies

Must be having policies in place to deal with independent contractors, customers, and employees helps maintain best practices, provide a baseline for accountability expectations, and protect against legal, regulatory, and liability issues.
Keeping these policies and procedures adhered to is streamlined with a contract lifecycle management platform. Setting up templates and approval workflows solidifies and simplifies processes across an organization. Access rights and organizational structure ensures all users can only see and create the documents they need to.
Maintaining complete records on the entire procurement and contract administration processes helps when other departments need relevant and authorized information and is made much simpler through digitization.
Must Have: -
Should have contract management experience, excellent negotiation skills, working with legal and business teams, management experience.
We will need at least overlap till 1 pm EST for this role.
Law degree is a plus.
Requirements
Required Skills/Experience
8+ years of progressive experience in HCL WebSphere Commerce v7, v8, v+, WebSphere Application Server, Rational Application Developer/Eclipse, DB2.
Experience with microservices, containers, and Orchestration frameworks (K8S).
8+ years of experience in Java J2EE Technology experience specifically: JSP, Servlet, EJB, AOP, JMS, Java Mail, SQL, JDBC, and Struts.
Experience in working with Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search, Akamai, etc.
Knowledge of Headless architecture e.g. REACT/ NodeJS / GraphQL
Open source API knowledge (Apache, ant, axis, commons, Unit, xerces)
Experience with jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Dojo, Angular JS, and React JS
Experience with continuous integration technologies: Jenkins or QuickBuild and GitHub
Knowledge or experience in the application configuration
Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP / REST
Web Technologies - HTML/CSS/Bootstrap
Rapid prototyping
Extensive experience working in an AGILE workflow model.
System Performance management
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Strong oral/written communication skills
