Are you an experienced operator who loves leading teams, lifting performance, and building enduring client relationships?
Citycare Property is looking for a Contract Manager to lead the operational delivery and growth of our Auckland Council business unit. You’ll shape operational plans, coach a multi‑disciplinary team, and take full accountability for results across service delivery, commercial performance, and customer satisfaction.

Extensive experience in operations leadership within construction, maintenance, or FM
Proven people leadership with a track record of lifting performance
Strong commercial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L ownership
Contract management expertise with KPI delivery and optimisation
Programme and project management across multiple concurrent workstreams
Continuous improvement mindset with data‑led decision making
Excellent communication and stakeholder management at all levels
Exposure to business development and tendering in the sector

What you’ll be doing Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
Lead day‑to‑day delivery for the Auckland Council contract with clear plans, targets, and reporting
Own unit P&L, budgets, and commercial performance, with tight cost and revenue control
Drive process improvement using data and lessons learned to lift quality and efficiency
Build, coach, and develop a capable team with a strong delivery culture
Strengthen multi‑level relationships with Auckland Council and key partners
Meet or exceed contract KPIs and ensure timely renewals and variations
Identify and convert growth opportunities, including tenders and new services
Manage risk across safety, people, commercial, and plant with sound mitigations
Champion sustainability and broader outcomes that reflect being a Good Kiwi Company
Keep the GM Local Government informed with timely insights on progress and issues
