Mō tēnei tūranga About the opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join Fonterra on a contract until 31 July 2026 (possibility to extend further) and support the development of enterprise‑grade applications that strengthen Fonterra’s commodity trading capabilities.
You’ll work across design, development, and continuous improvement-building new features, enhancing existing applications, and collaborating closely with architects, cloud engineers, data scientists, and product teams.
This is a high‑impact role within a key digital enablement project, and while Auckland is preferred, remote work from anywhere in New Zealand is possible for the right person.
Mōu About you
You’re an experienced full stack developer who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating with others, and building high‑quality applications that make an impact.
You’ll bring:
5+ years of hands‑on application development experience
Proven experience building modern web applications
Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React
The ability to plan your work, manage dependencies, and work well with a cross‑functional team
A curious, proactive mindset and a willingness to guide and support your teammates
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
