About The Role Siege Media is seeking a talented Freelance Content Writer to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality, SEO-optimized content for our world-class clients. This role involves researching and writing comprehensive articles across various industry verticals, including health, legal, finance, and technology. The ideal candidate will be adept at producing engaging, well-structured content that aligns with client goals and style guidelines. As a remote-first organization, this position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work independently while collaborating effectively with editors, designers, and clients. The Freelance Content Writer will play a critical role in helping clients achieve their organic traffic and link-building objectives through compelling content creation. Qualifications • 2-3 years of experience as a content writer, with published work on reputable news sites or industry blogs • Extensive knowledge of niche topics within health, legal, finance, and/or tech industries • Experience writing for the web, including long-form guides, how-tos, software/tool roundups, comparison posts, and trend reports • Strong interpersonal skills for remote collaboration • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently • High attention to detail and a focus on producing quality content • Proven ability to generate creative ideas that attract online attention Responsibilities • Write comprehensive, engaging articles on a variety of topics within specific industry verticals with minimal supervision
