One Quint, a book publishing company, seeks content editors and writers to assist in academic book publication.
Responsibilities:
• Review written content to ensure it is logical, well written, and structured in a style that is suitable for its audience
• Ensure adherence to the curriculum of academic boards such as ICSE, CBSE, and IGCSE.
• Correct spelling, grammar, and sentence structure of submitted work from a variety of authors
• Bring issues and questions to the attention of the authors
• Double-check facts for accuracy and relevance
• Ensure final written content is consistent with the organization’s brand guidelines
• Establish good relationships with existing authors and assist new authors with publishing their books on our platform
• Perform market research to improve our Author's content and help the brand stand out from the competition.
• Encourage authors to submit their time-sensitive projects on time and assist them as needed.
• Attention to detail in language, spelling, and punctuation
• Work with the book designer and typist to make the book informative, easy to understand, and logically structured for students.
• Proactively provide feedback to teachers and work with them to finalize the content.
Candidate Eligibility:
• Excellent written English, including good spelling and perfect grammar.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous in work.
• A strong understanding of all high school academic subjects.
• Meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
• Graduate in BA/B.Com/BMS/B.Ed/BS/B.Tech
• Good academic record
Work Timings: Monday to Saturday, +am - 6pm
Office Location: Opp. Railway Station, Kandivali West, Mumbai
