Job Description
Responsibilities
Create and publish a minimum of at least three (3) unique social media posts per week
Capture high-quality product photography, lifestyle photos, and fishing-related content
Shoot and edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
Design graphics, promotional materials, and social media assets
Write engaging captions, product descriptions, and marketing copy
Create and maintain product pages on the company website
Upload product images, specifications, and descriptions to the website
Collaborate with the team to promote new products, sales, events, and seasonal fishing opportunities
Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and messages as needed
Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
Qualifications Required
Ability to reliably commute to Salem, MA
Experience with photography and video editing
Experience creating content for social media platforms
Experience editing videos for social media and digital marketing
Experience creating graphics using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software
Strong written communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet weekly content deadlines
Basic understanding of website content management and e-commerce product listings
Preferred
Knowledge of fishing, boating, or outdoor recreation
Experience BigCommerce e-commerce platforms
Experience in Meta Pixel and Meta Advantage+ catalog ads
Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking
Experience working with outdoor, sporting goods, or lifestyle brands
