Job Description

Chinook Auto Supplies is a fast-growing automotive accessories company that manufactures unique interior upgrades for truck and car enthusiasts across North America.

We build products like DashSkinz cluster faceplate kits and HyperVolt console chargers. Our goal is to make older vehicles feel new again with high-quality, functional products that look like they belong from the factory.

We are looking for a hands-on marketing person to help create content, support product launches, improve ad creative, and drive growth.

About the Role

This is not a “just post on Instagram” role.

We need someone who can help turn our products, customer reviews, shop activity, installs, and product launches into content that drives attention and sales.

The right person can film, edit, write hooks, test ideas, understand basic ad performance, and move quickly.

You do not need to be a corporate marketing manager. We want someone practical, creative, organized, and performance-minded.

Growth Opportunity

This role will start part-time at approximately 20–30 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the right person.

As Chinook Auto Supplies continues launching new products and expanding our marketing, we want this role to grow with the company. If you can consistently create strong content, support product launches, improve ad creative, and help drive profitable sales, this could become a full-time marketing role.

Responsibilities

You will help with:

Filming short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and ads
Editing product videos with strong hooks, captions, and clear messaging
Creating content from shop activity, product builds, installs, customer reviews, and product launches
Building a library of video clips, product photos, hooks, testimonials, and content ideas
Creating new ad creative for testing
Helping improve Meta ad performance through better creative and messaging
Writing simple product-focused copy for ads, emails, SMS, product pages, and social posts
Supporting new product launches for DashSkinz, HyperVolt, and future product lines
Tracking what content is working and what is not
Reporting weekly on content created, ads tested, winning hooks, and performance trends
What We’re Looking For

The ideal person is:

Strong at short-form video content
Comfortable filming and editing
Good at writing hooks and simple sales copy
Interested in cars, trucks, tools, manufacturing, or hands-on products
Organized and self-directed
Comfortable working in a small business environment
Able to turn one product into multiple content angles
Interested in sales results, not just likes and views
Willing to test, improve, and move quickly
Able to take feedback without getting defensive
Experience with Meta ads, Shopify, Klaviyo, Omnisend, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools is a strong bonus.

You only want to make pretty posts
You are not interested in tracking results
You need every idea handed to you
You are uncomfortable filming products, people, or shop activity
You dislike direct response marketing
You cannot produce consistent weekly output
You think marketing is only about branding
You are not comfortable being judged by output and performance
Weekly Scorecard

This role will be measured by:

Short-form videos created
Ad creatives created/tested
Winning hooks or angles found
Product launch assets completed
Email/SMS or product page improvements completed
Impact on sales, CAC, ROAS, and conversion performance
Schedule

Part-time to start, approximately 20–30 hours per week.

Some work should be done on-site in Lethbridge to film products, shop activity, installs, and behind-the-scenes content. Some editing/planning work may be done remotely for the right person.

There is an opportunity for this role to grow into full-time based on performance, fit, and company growth.

Compensation

$30–$38/hour, depending on experience and ability.

Performance-based bonus may be available after the first 90 days based on output, sales impact, and campaign performance.
