We're a small, but growing, commercial general contractor that mainly specializes in interior work (fitouts, TIs, LLW, etc.) though we do get involved in some exterior work as well. We're involved in almost all areas of construction such as industrial, retail, office, hospitality, along with the occasional service work.

We're currently looking for a Project Manager with relevant, Canada-based experience in the above and someone who is currently situated in Edmonton. The position would be working from home, as we don't have an office, with site visits as required. Based on the working situation we need someone who is organized, a self-starter, and has a hunger to make a name for themselves in the industry.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- Manage project budgets and track expenses
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process

Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize tasks
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and ability to review and analyze cost estimates
- Familiarity with software programs such as Bluebeam
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and blueprints
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors
- Problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise during the construction process

Qualifications

Proven experience in project management within the construction industry
Strong skills in construction estimating and blueprint reading
Proficiency in construction management software, including Bluebeam
Excellent time management and communication skills

Must be self-sufficient once the company's procedures are understood
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
