Construction Accounting Financial Manager

Job Overview:The Manager - Construction Accounting will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of construction projects.This position requires strong leadership skills and expertise in construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.The ideal candidate will have experience in managing financial operations, including production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of adequate accounting records, and comprehensive sets of controls and budgets.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entriesPrepare and analyse monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsEnsure timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities through the construction draw processManage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, including ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and available for tax preparers and auditorsRequirements:CA/CPA with 8-10 years of experience in the real estate/construction industryHighly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverablesExcellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsMust have excellent work ethic, high integrity, and excellent follow-up skills
