Overview
Fort Sands Construction is looking for a Concrete Specialist to join our company to expand our Calgary team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with all types of construction on condos and commercial buildings.
You must have your own tools, a valid driver’s license and a reliable truck. We offer a competitive wage for the right experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform concrete placement, pouring, and finishing for multi‑family and commercial projects
Set up and remove formwork, and install rebar or reinforcement materials
Read and follow construction drawings, specifications, and site instructions
Operate concrete tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure quality, durability, and proper curing of all concrete work
Requirements
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
